  1. Joan was a wonderful woman, kind and loving. After she lost her husband, she asked my son and I to come over. Wes was nearly the same size as Frank. To this day, Wes has a pair of his dress shoes and a coat. It made Joan smile, I can see her in my mind. She will be missed.

  2. Mary Beth & Family – we met you and your Mom at the Episcopal Home when my Mom, Jane Maley, was there. Joan would always comment on how pretty my Mom looked and would ask if she could borrow some of her tops. We said many times that Joan and my Mom could have been sisters. I remember going to Joan’s room on occasion to get a sweet treat for her – there was ALWAYS something chocolate or some kind of candy in her room. She was just the sweetest lady and I know there is a huge void in your family with her loss. May she rest in peace.

  3. So sorry for your loss. Joan and I go way back to Bonita Dr. We were doing lunches a couple times a year until she went to Unity. I missed her very much. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family.

  4. Our deepest sympathies to all the family. We go back a long ways with Frank and Joan, thanks to Kodak. Joan was ever so kind to us when our daughter was in her final illness, and we were so grateful. And Joan was a welcome lunch partner on occasion. She’ll be missed.

  5. Dan & Cassy & family, I am so sorry for your loss and for what you both were going thru, you took the time to reach out to us for our loss> You don’t know how much that meant to us. Our thoughts are with you and if there’s anything we can do for you, please let us know. Love, Kathy & John

  6. I will always treasure Joan as a kind and gentle lady. Her smile and warmth embraced all who had the privilege to know her. I am so sorry for all your loss, but know that she is now with Mr. Kent in a peaceful place.

  7. Tom and Debbie,
So sorry to hear about your loss. I met your Mom only once but I remember what a beautiful person she was. She seemed so kind and welcoming. I hope you both find peace in knowing this was her first impression on a stranger and that you must of had a great Mom. God Bless you and your family at this difficult time.

  8. Joan was so kind, generous and frank. You were all blessed to have such a mother, and losing her must be terribly difficult. I am thinking of all of you.
