Greece: October 12, 2025: Joan is predeceased by her beloved husband, Shirley Lowrey; grandchild, Olivia Graham. She is survived by her children, Linda (Bob) Castle, Ben (Katie) Lowrey, & Sam (Mina) Lowrey; grandchildren, Candice (Pat) O’Lena, Michael Castle, Bianca (Andrew) Satta, Nikki Castle, Michael (Tara) Lowrey, Samantha Lowrey, Tanner Rodwell, Tiana Rodwell, Jessica Graham, & Ricky (Joni) Graham; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Sam (Judy) Cipriano; sister, Michelle (Robert) Donovan; several nieces, nephews, cousins & dear friends.
Joan’s life story will be shared during her visitation at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (Between 390 & Long Pond Rd.), Friday October 17th, 4-7 PM. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Saturday, October 18th, 12 PM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 2400 W. Ridge Rd. Immediately following, Joan will be laid to rest in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Roswell Park Cancer Center 665 Elm St., Buffalo, NY 14203 in Joan’s memory.
