We were saddened to read of Joan’s passing . She was a wonderful woman and she will be missed dearly by all of you. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.
I’ll never forget how Joan, especially Joan, and Larry helped us through our first year of marriage. She was a sweet, wonderful lady and she will be missed very much.
I have the fondest memories of Joan and Larry when we were all starting out as young marrieds and having babies…We enjoyed all the birthday parties, Friday night drinkathons especially at Genesee Park Inn..trips to Florida in the spring.I moved to Florida in the early 70’s and we kept in touch for awhile but then life happened and we went in different directions, or I should say I did..We talked and facebooked over the years..I prayed for Joan but did not visit like I should have because I wanted to always remember her as the jovial, laughing face, beautful soul that she was..I have many happy and fond memories stored away in my membory bank and now I send condolences to Larry, Larry and Brian…..Rest in peace dear Joan Mastrella, dance with the angels and spend time at the Father’s feet…
I was so very sorry to learn that Joanie has passed away. Even though we weren’t in contact very much as adults, my memories of our great childhood times together will always remain with me. She’s safely in God’s arms now, and she and all the family will be in my prayers.
