To the family of Bruce Auger, In loving memory of Wing’s dearest friend… may your fond memories bring you comfort – With our deepest sympathy and love, Dian, Gene, Justin & Emily
Bruce was my Daddy’s dearest friend and so I was lucky enough to have known him (and Marlene) for decades. Both my Dad and Bruce worked for Picker X-Ray Corporation back in the day. Although the former was in the Service Department and the latter in Sales, they enjoyed swapping business stories.
After retirement the two would sometimes talk daily and often plan lunches or road day trips which Marlene earnestly requested to be included in on because their outings were so much fun! I would hear about their food choices and the exciting events of the day.
When my Daddy passed, I continued the delightful ritual as the three of us reminisced and recreated the great times they had with my father.
After Marlene left us, Bruce and I would chat frequently, laughing and crying and sharing stories of the good old days.
So, as a longtime friend, I can honestly say that Bruce was one of the most sweet, caring and gentle souls I have ever been blessed to know. He will be sorely missed.
I’m certain that he and Marlene are frolicking now with my Daddy and Mom in heaven and planning their next adventure!
With my deepest sympathy for your loss…
Until we meet again, dear Bruce… With love, Diane Cairo
Our sympathies to Mr. Augur’s family. We will miss him. I have known him since high school and he was among the few who would ask about our travels with Climbing For Christ. He was always interested in what we were doing and where, and we appreciated that. We would be at the memorial on Tuesday but we are currently on mission in Indonesia. We send our love for this dear brother in Christ and look forward to the day when we will see him again in the glory of God!

Bruce and Marlene were next-door neighbors of my mother’s for four years. They were wonderful people in every respect. Our condolences to the family.
