  4. Like so many local hockey players I was fortunate to have John Farnham as my coach. He was a phenomenal human being who played a major role in changing my outlook on life. I was selfish and brash. Coach Farnham invested the time to help me become a better teammate and person. His caring yet stern nature motivated me more than he’ll ever know. Rest in peace my friend!

  5. Our 4 boys had the experience of having John as their HS hockey coach. Not only did he teach them on the ice, but also in the classroom. Our memories of John hold a special place in our hearts. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this sad time.

  6. Mr. Farnham was an amazing educator and a great story teller, he made history fun and interesting. He made an impact many so many people lives. He is the reason I too became a history teacher. I am thankful for his influence in my life, and I fondly recall every year to my own students that Mr. Farnham’s teaching made me want to be an educator. Sending thoughts and prayers to the family and his friends.

  7. I absolutely hated school but Mr Farnham was one of the few teachers I liked. Which says a lot in itself. He will be missed my condolences to his family at this time

  8. John you always made me laugh. One of my favorite coworkers at Hilton High. Condolences to your family you will be missed.😢

  9. Mr. Farnham was absolutely amazing one of my favorite teachers!! He made learning about history fun and broke his yard stick in my class so we went out and got him a new one lol. He will be missed. My condolences to Mrs. Farnham and their beautiful family.

    • Mr. Farnham was a fun, easy going teacher, and had an immediate impact on Hilton hockey his first year. Thank you for giving me a chance.

  10. Mr. Farnham’s love of history was contagious and his connection with his students was unparalleled. He passed on his joy of history to countless students and even 20+ years later I can hear his Boston accent. My condolences to Mrs, Farnham, his children, and grandchildren, he was a remarkable person.
