To the Isselhard family, our deepest sympathies. We are sorry we did not make it to the service. Our thoughts and prayers were with you. It seems like yesterday we were on Horizon Drive. Milt and Jan
Very sorry to hear about this news. John was a pleasure to work with. Very helpful, knowledgeable and just nice. He made filing taxes less stressful (Painful). I am sure he will dearly missed my his family and friends.
John will be greatly missed. Even though we only saw him once a year, we looked forward to seeing him at the Honeoye office. He was very personable. We are sorry for your loss.
I’m very sorry to hear of John’s passing. I played Little League with John and was lucky enough to be on our special All-Star team with him that almost made it to Williamsport. It was easy to see even then that John was a very gifted athlete – cool under pressure with quick hands and very smooth. He also had the best curveball in the League! John was the guy who was friends with everybody – easy going, humble and at that age, just plain fun to be around. He had a good sense of humor too …. I remember him helping me ‘find’ my glove or a stray cleat from time to time! My heartfelt condolences to his family, I hope you find comfort in the lifetime of fond memories that John certainly created and blessed you and many others with.
John, you are one of a kind. You had a special way of making us laugh with that smile and sarcastic wit. Your talents from a very young age are legendary. We’ve seen the 1970s little league home movies that prove it! The Natural. The ultimate competitor — in the classroom … the state soccer tournament … backyard whiffle ball … or on the golf course in later years. Like many of us, I was blessed to know John and love him like a brother. We pray for his children which meant so much to John, and your family. Our great memories of John will help us through this difficult time.
Words can’t express how sad we were to hear of John’s passing. Dave has wonderful childhood memories of his time with his cousins. We want you to know that we are thinking of you and praying for you during this time.
Was shocked and very saddened to hear of John’s passing. Though I lost touch with him a bit over recent years, I did run into him on occasion and I always enjoyed our conversations. We played many sports together over the years, starting at Penfield HS and transitioning to softball and hoops, etc.. John was one of the best athletes I ever played with, and a great teammate. I will miss running into him and reliving the glory years. I extend my sincerest condolences to his family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
John, you were a pleasure to work with every day. I will miss listening to the classic rock channel and sharing snacks with you. You were always my buddy until the bitter end on tax deadline day. I will also miss us teasing each other about our “workouts” at the Y. AFP will not be the same without you.

Played basketball on Mondays with John for years (was a knock-down shooter). Everybody really enjoyed his presence. Will be sorely missed.
