(McConnell) DeBellis; children, Doris (Glenn) Williams, Joyce Piazza; grandchildren, Katie (Brad) Barnett, Julia (Jarrod) Durdin, Ross (Jessica) Tomlinson, Anthony (Kristy) Tomlinson, Dustin Tomlinson; 8 great-grandchildren; several nieces nephews; special nieces nephew, Ginger Murphy. Vicky Lambert, Amy Weber, Daniel D'Andreano.
Visitation is 2-6 PM on Sunday at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 Long Pond Rd). Joseph's funeral mass will be celebrated Monday at 9:30 AM at St. Theodore's Church, 168 Spencerport Rd, Rochester. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Joe was born in Rochester on January 20, 1930 to Carlo Katarina and grew up on Bronson St. As a young boy, he enjoyed riding and caring for horses and this continued as he got older.
He graduated from Madison High School and worked as a master mason and was a member of Local Union 3.
Some of Joe's favorite activities included attending family reunions and playing cards with the family. He also enjoyed playing golf, watching western movies, and listening to jazz music.
Family and friends would best describe Joe as someone who was gentle, honest, and not politically correct. He will be greatly missed.
