 History
Josephine was one of 8 children, family became an important part of her life early on and carried onto her 3 children; 10 grandchildren and her 16 great-grandchildren. She was in every sense of the word the Matriarch of her beloved family. Josephine always looked forward to family gatherings, especially Christmas, Easter and her weekly "sisters club." It was her time spent with the "sisters club" that she and her sisters would come together to play cards, socialize and satisfy their sweet tooth`s with dessert. Josephine was very religious and was devoted to Mary and to saying the Rosary. Josephine enjoyed bowling, card playing, gardening and knitting hats aand mittens for her family. Josephine was a strong willed person, who always maintained a sense of humor. Josephine`s strength was never more evident then in her ability to cope with the pains associated with her illnesses, no matter how bad things were she never complained with the hand that God had dealt her. She was loved by all of her family and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
