  1. Gramma Josie, thank you for all you’ve done for our family. Thank you for the legacy of prayer and faith you’ve made; it really is the backbone to our family. Whenever something difficult was happening, you were there with this assuring confidence that everything will work out alright. My Jesus, my confidence will always be in my head and heart because of you. I’ll always remember coming to your house when I was little and all the food and things you so generously gave — soup, york patties, kids cusine frozen dinners (which mom wouldn’t buy, so i was alway so excited you would bring them!). And as I grew older, your advice was a gift in itself. There are moments I can remember you saying things that I doubted, but that always ended up being right and working out. I just want you to know that you did so much more than you think you did, and I am so grateful you were and are my gramma. Thank you for the holy water you sent to me in Boston, for always being supportive and a good listener, and for your minestrone and cut outs. I love you, and I’ll see you in heaven someday. Love, Dehlia.

  2. My condolences to the family and friends on the passing of my Aunt Josie. It’s never easy to lose a parent, grandparent and a friend, no matter your age. I will always remember Aunt Josie fondly and have memories during the younger years. I have always received holiday, birthday, or get well cards throughout the years and kept every card she sent. She was compassionate, giving and gifted which made her special. I pray for peace, comfort and support to one another. God Bless you and yours.

  3. Grandma,

I love and miss you very much. Im going to miss talking to you on the phone and sitting next to you at every holiday. Ill never forget all the times you picked me up from football with an ice cold gatorade, or took me to bill greys after school. You always took care of me the best that you could and I wish we had more time to spend together. I truly appreciate the impact that you had on me as well as the rest of the family. Thankyou for teaching me to always walk with Jesus and that he is all the confidence ill ever need. You will be very missed but I know that you will always be with me. Thankyou for being you. Hope your enjoying heaven gram, ill see you there one day.

  4. Grandma,

I am going to miss talking to you every weekend over the phone and catching up. Thank you for all of the stories you shared with me, taking the grandkids to McDonalds, the movie theaters with candy and pre popped popcorn while we were growing up. You were a strong bond for our family and I could always rely on you when I needed advice. Thank you for taking me in during high school and my early years of college.
I will truly miss receiving your call each year on my birthday with the entire Happy Birthday song.
I am glad that you are no longer suffering and know with all my heart that you are in heaven with grandpa Frank celebrating with Jesus.
It is not goodbye it is see you later.

  5. Mom, you are a strong and amazing woman. You lived a hard life, raised 4 kids by yourself, worked hard, and knew how to have fun. Your love for Jesus was contagious, thank you for teaching me about Him and encouraging me to get to know him so he can be my Saviour. I will miss your delicious cut outs, cakes, breads, and soups. Thank you for teaching me so many things and for listening to me. Love Lisa
