  13. Juliet, my heart is broken with the reality of losing you. We learned early that your illness would eventually take you, but it happened far too soon. From the joy of your birth to the pain of learning your diagnosis – we have dreaded this day.
This life was not fair to you, never walking or talking, months in the hospital – but your smile could light up a room. Your gentle spirit touched everyone who cared for you. In many ways, you cared for us – you brought our family closer; our friends fell in love with you, we met wonderful nurses, therapists, and doctors through you.
The fierce commitment of your mother’s care and advocacy for you, your father’s determination to fight for you, your grandmother’s years of loving care, and your gg’s comforting touch all prove how deeply you were loved.
Calli and Brian, in the face of this unthinkable loss, your strength and love are awe inspiring. Your devotion as parents and the way you cared for your Juliet will make me proud forever.
I will miss you every day for the rest of my life and help make sure your sissy learns what you did for your family.

  14. Sweet Juliet. You were my little warrior princess. Your strength and love never ceased to amaze me. I will always treasure our dance parties, the music that we shared, and all of our cuddle times. You gave us such a memorable summer, where we spent a lot of time outside enjoying the weather and swimming in the pool. You had such a beautiful heart. You were our angel on earth and now you are truly an angel in heaven. My heart is broken, but I know you are at peace and flying high. I miss you and will love you until we meet again.
    Love you Juju,
    Nana
