Steve Marciano My deepest sympathy to the Guetti Family. Gus touched so many lives in the neighborhood and will remain in our memories forever. Truly a great man, who no matter how busy, always took time to converse and ask about the family when you saw him at the store.
Neil Marron Relation to Deceased: old friend Justin was a true gentlemen. He always had a pot of coffee on and insteaded you have something to eat. I loved the talks we would have about business and life in general when I worked for Canada Dry and Coke. Justin was a very smart man and I learned alot from him. The world has truly lost one of the good ones. My prayers are with Justin and his family. God bless Neil
Mike Stevens. I used to live in the neighborhood when Gus had the store on Ridgeway & was in there all the time & got to know him pretty good 1979-84.He used to make me subs the size of a football that I’d take to work.He was a great guy, always had a smile & didn’t tolerate the youngsters out front trying to get customers going into the store to buy them cigarettes or beer. R.I.P. old friend, until we meet again. The butterfly emerges from its silken shell- Reborn, it arises, no longer bound to earth. Free at last, the butterfly glides to heights unknown before. So do our loved ones find a beautiful release as, earthbound no more, they leave our sight and joyfully rise to a garden of matchless beauty, a place of light and peace. -Evelyn Phillips
Lou Alexander Relation to Deceased: Friend I apologize for being unable to attend Justin’s calling hours. He was a very special person to all of us. I was lucky to have known him. He was a true friend to me and I admired his commitment to his family. I will personally miss him greatly. I extend my deepest sympathy to his whole family.

David Casserino Relation to Deceased: good friend I want to express to the family and friends of Mr.Gueitti my deapest sorrow . We lost a great man on this earth and now he is a great man in the heavens, above. I am happy for all the years and friendship we had . I am thankful for all that I have learned from him. Mr.G was a person who had to give more than he received and would always have great advise to give. He loved his son’s and was great to many people, he will be missed and will be in my heart forever. The celebration of life, shared in the beginning, and again, in the end. Yet we forget to celebrate it, in every moment we live. Time, days, years, go on, but are we alive? Alive and do not know it, sleeping in the world and dead to the life we are to live. To celebrate all life, the sparrow who sang in the morning, and died in the night, why do we not celebrate its life? To know thyself is to know you are alive – to give, to love, to seek truth, beauty, and suffer pain. In life as it is meant to be, pain is forgotten, and strength is all that’s left to be gained in the moment by moment celebration of life. By Deborah Peabody
