We are so very sorry to hear of Kay’s passing–I just found out today. Kay and I spent about 10 years together selling Home Interiors and traveling to conventions in Nashville and numerous years to Dallas. She was always a bright spot in our group, and we had many fun memories to share from those trips with Janet Reis, Pat Bartlett and countless others including the ladies from Pennsylvania. She will be missed.
I first met Kay at the Greece Y Women and found her to be such a kind and loving lady. She always had the warmest smile for everyone she met. Her surprise 40th birthday party was such a great time…she was touched by all of the love from her family and friends.
Her successful Home Interiors business was a tribute to her easy going personality and her connection to the people that attended the parties.
My thought and prayers are with her family at this sad time…may your beautiful memories of her bring you comfort and may she rest in Eternal peace.
Sincerely,
Linda May Alongi
This is such sad news and I am so sorry for Kay´s family. Our paths crossed many years ago and despite the passage of time and subsequent choices, she´ll always be part of that group who gathered in Emmitsburg in September of 1963. Sending love and prayers to her husband and children. Sr. Maura Hobart, DC
I am so sorry to hear of Kay’s passing. We were together in the “infamous band of ’63”. Oh, how we loved being together, and Kay was so easy to love. I wish you all peace and prayers.
Gil and family so saddened to hear this news. We loved her very much and will always remeber her fondly. May you be comforted in all of your great memories together in the difficult days ahead.
God Bless may she rest in piece…
Ernie, Gloria, Marissa and Chad Silvia.
We are so saddened to hear of Kay’s sudden passing. She was such a beautiful soul and a genuine friend to all she knew. Our hearts are broken for Gil, Kay’s family, and her many close friends.
Rest in God’s love and peace.
Kay was the nicest and kindest person we knew. Her unexpected passing was shocking and very emotional
We have been close friends with Kay and Gil for over 45 years. We played cards, games, went out to dinner and for the last 11 years went to Aruba with them. We will miss her enormously and offer our deepest and sincere condolences to Gil, Erin, Brian, Kay’s four sisters , other family and friends. She will be sorely missed. God bless her and may she RIP
WE LOVE YOU KAY
Marty and Diane.
I’m not sure how to say good bye to someone who has always been a constant in my life! One of my dearest friends, neighbor for most of my adult life and truly a sister to me in more ways than one. We have shared the best of times and the worst! So many laughs and so many tears throughout the years! Through it all you were always there! I am unable to process this! How do you let go of the person who has been by your side through all your ups and downs?!!! My heart will forever be broken! I will hold on to all of our memories and they will sustain me until I see you again. Thank you for the last couple hours spent at the hospital. I know you heard everything I said as I held your hand! I’m sure you have seen my Bob (and he was shocked, saying it was sooner than he would have thought) and my Mom and Dad. Tell them how much I miss and love them! I know I will see you again. I love you Kay! Heaven has another beautiful angel!!!
We will look after Gil and be there for Erin through this extremely difficult time! Rest in Peace my very special friend! 💔
