Donofrio, Kathleen "Kathi" Gates: April 8, 2016. Kathi is survived by her brothers, Gary (Linda) Donofrio David Donofrio; nephews, Carmen (Adan) Donofrio Gary II (Julie) Donofrio; several aunts, uncles, great-nieces great-nephew, cousins. Kathi's visitation will be Friday 2-4 PM 7-9 PM at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 Long Pond Rd.) Her funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 AM at St. Jude The Apostle Church, 4100 Lyell Rd. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to A.W.A.N.D., 1411 Vintage Lane, Rochester, NY 14626 in Kathi's memory. Kathi was born on December 10, 1965. She grew up on Emerson St. and Dewey Avenue neighborhood and then later moved to the town of Gates. During her youth, Kathi enjoyed dancing and singing. She attended and graduated from Spencerport High school. As an adult, she worked for Concentix Company as a Customer Service Representative. Kathi gained many friends from her work place. She enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews, especially at their birthday parties. Kathi loved to sing, as she sung in her church choir. She was also the Activities Director for A.W.A.N.D. Some of Kathi's favorite music was gospel and rap and her favorite singer was Adele. She also enjoyed watching the T.V. shows American Idol and The Voice. Kathi was known to be social, lovely, caring and generous. She will be missed dearly and lovingly remembered.
