Two of her children were my students and they were both reflections of her. She loved her family dearly and would often inquire about “my girl”. I am sure their awareness of this helped motivate them. They were good kids. Kathy touched the lives of many while leaving a legacy of compassion. I was blessed to know Kathy and regret your loss. The celebration of life, shared in the beginning, and again, in the end. Yet we forget to celebrate it, in every moment we live. Time, days, years, go on, but are we alive? Alive and do not know it, sleeping in the world and dead to the life we are to live.
