  5. I am so sorry to hear about Kevin’s passing. I enjoyed treating him in our healthcare setting since around 1987. He was a joyful guy and I will miss his jokes, stories and songs. He spoke lovingly about his family and you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

  6. We are so sorry for your loss, There are no words to describe the emptiness we feel for our dear friend. I will always remember our talks and fun times from marching Band right up to when I retired from Hilton. Our thoughts are with you now and in the future. Please let the good memories help you through the hard days ahead. He has always brought a smile to my face as well as many others. He will be truly missed. Love to all.

  7. How fortunate we were to have had a friend and neighbor in Kevin. We shared a walkway, but shared so much more. Kevin was our Botteri Street Guardian Angel. He treated us like family, and was quick to help with whatever was needed. We are going to miss his kindness, warmth, and smile. Our sincerest condolences to Kathy and family.
    Lynn and Steve Bernstein

  8. So sorry to hear about the tragic loss of Moe. I will always remember my days working for him. Heaven definitely gained a good soul.

  9. I was terribly saddened to learn of the passing of Kevin “Moe” Francis. During my career with the Town of Greece Police Department, it was not uncommon to interact professionally with members of the five fire districts that serve the town. Kevin was one of those individuals, a Firefighter with the Ridge Road Fire District. During my twenty years with the town, it was both a privilege and a pleasure to know him and to work with him on many incidents of mutual concern. And later when the job was done, he was always good for a few laughs. Truly a Great Guy with a Great Sense of Humor!!
My sincere condolences to Kevin’s family and my thoughts & prayers are with you at this difficult time and in the days ahead.

    Sgt. Steve Smith (Retired).

  10. Kathy:

I met you briefly with Moe at Olie’s a few months back. I have never seen Moe so happy! He truly relished telling me about your marriage and sharing time with you. Thank you for creating that happiness for our friend. And what a friend he was! His devotion to our mutual friend, Beamer Hughes, especially during the most difficult last year and a half of Beamer’s life, set a standard as to how all of us should reach out and help others in times of need. Moe was at Beamer’s side constantly and it wasn’t always easy. Moe will be sorely missed and know that you are in the thoughts and prayers of so many of us.

    Sincerely,

    Tom Huber

  11. I’m very sorry to hear the news about Kevin “Moe”. I worked at the Police Department, along side of the firefighters at the Ridge Road Fire District for many years. Have a lot of good memories and had a lot of laughs with them and especially “Moe”. He always saw the ‘good’ and ‘light-side’ in people and situations. He will be missed greatly for his humanity, a true friend. God bless you “Moe-man”.
