  1. Tom DiGirolamo Relation to Deceased: Aquinas Institute Alumni Dear Mulcahy Family, I am very sad to hear about Kevin and want to offer my deepest condolences to the Family. You read these obituaries every day but it really hits home when it is a Family member or friend. My nickname for Kevin at AQ was Herb and even till this day, when I ran into him at Wegmans or Holy Cross events he laughed whenever I greeted him that way. Herb, I’m so sorry you left us and only hope that you are not suffering anymore and in a better place! Tommy D. AQ Class of 76 The butterfly emerges from its silken shell- Reborn, it arises, no longer bound to earth. Free at last, the butterfly glides to heights unknown before. So do our loved ones find a beautiful release as, earthbound no more, they leave our sight and joyfully rise to a garden of matchless beauty, a place of light and peace. -Evelyn Phillips

  4. Riley Anne Lampart Relation to Deceased: Friend When the girls were in preschool together at Holy Cross, Riley Anne and Isabela were instant little friends – i can remember meeting Kevin for the very first time in the gym and i knew immediately what an amazing person he was. An amazing person who you just wanted to be around, he brough so much joy and fun everytime we saw him. You were drawn to him! When I told Riley that Kevin had gone to heaven, Riley said – “I really liked him, he always had so much fun with ‘us’ girls. I’m gonna miss him. He really liked me too.” You made a great impact with every soul you met, I think he will be missed by so many! The celebration of life, shared in the beginning, and again, in the end. Yet we forget to celebrate it, in every moment we live. Time, days, years, go on, but are we alive? Alive and do not know it, sleeping in the world and dead to the life we are to live. To celebrate all life, the sparrow who sang in the morning, and died in the night, why do we not celebrate its life? To know thyself is to know you are alive – to give, to love, to seek truth, beauty, and suffer pain. In life as it is meant to be, pain is forgotten, and strength is all that’s left to be gained in the moment by moment celebration of life. By Deborah Peabody

  5. Patrick Carroll Relation to Deceased: classmate I went to A.Q. with Kevin, but we also went to S.U.N.Y. Canton together before he went on to R.I.T. Memories of Kevin include his infectious laugh and his compassion for others. I will always remember Kevin taking the time to see how I was coping with things after the death of my father in 1977. He took the time to buy me a beer at a place in Canton called The Hoot Owl, and I was touched that he took the time just to talk things over. He was filled with concern and spoke from the heart. We lost touch over the years, but his kindness and warm words have always been appreciated. My thoughts and prayers are with his family; I’ll remember Kevin fondly…

A beautiful ceramic bird house, cool wooden bouy, ceramic thrown and hand built pieces along with some of his great photographs. I will never forget the long talks we would have about sailing, family and life in general. He would crack me up when he would borrow a hand out of mine (I am a teacher at Arcadia) and it would come back to me with his signature on it. His on going fun in Clayton in the summers with zuccini art, and his love and talent for art of all kinds. Kevin really is an inspiration and will be missed dearly.
