Resided in: Rochester, NY
Kristina Marie “Tina” Elkins, 33, of Rochester, and most recently of Town of Greece, passed away unexpectedly on February 14, 2026.
Born and raised in Rochester, Tina was a vibrant soul whose love for her family defined her life. In 2014, she proudly earned her Associate’s Degree in Science from Monroe Community College — an accomplishment that reflected her determination and drive to build a meaningful future.
Above all else, Tina was a devoted and loving mother to her precious 2½-year-old son, Koda William LePosa. Koda was the light of her life and her greatest joy. She shared Koda with his father, Tom LePosa, and together they created a beautiful little boy who will forever carry his mother’s spirit in his heart.
Tina’s courage and strength were evident throughout her life. In an act of bravery that her family will never forget, she saved two of her brothers from a house fire — a selfless act that speaks to the depth of her love and fearless devotion to those she cherished. Her brothers, Brian P. Elkins, Calvin Conley, and Kansas Conley, are eternally grateful for her heroism.
She is survived by her beloved grandmother, Fran Willey; her father, Todd P. Elkins; her brothers; her cherished son, Koda; and her faithful rescue dog, Dahlia, who was a constant companion. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ronda S. Elkins, and her grandfather, Richard Willey.
Tina will be remembered for her fierce love, protective heart, and the deep bonds she shared with her family and friends. She leaves behind several aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends whose lives were touched by her warmth and loyalty. She was deeply loved and will be missed beyond measure.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held in the spring for family and friends. Time and location will be announced at a later date.
Though her time here was far too short, Kristina’s love, bravery, and spirit will live on in her son and in all who were blessed to know her.
