My deepest condolences on the passing of your mom. The times spent visiting with her (on a daily basis!) at Lori’s Cards and Gifts are wonderful memories that will be with me always. All those years that I worked with your father, it was so clear how much he loved your mom, and when the card shop opened up and I got to see them together everyday, it was awesome to see how in love with each other they were. Rest assured that they have been reunited for all of eternity. We all know how much they loved their family, and after Guy’s passing, I truly believe that Lori loved and fiercely protected all of you enough for both of them. I hope you all are able to find peace, comfort, and strength in memories of Lori, and may those memories ease any sadness in your heart.

My Aunt Laura will always hold a special place in my heart. It’s not just because she was my Aunt, but because she was also my godmother. As a young boy, I remember having many visits with her and my Uncle Guy with my parents. I also remember seeing and visiting with her at many family functions. She was always happy to see me, and she certainly brought a smile to her face as well as mine. As time passed and I moved away from Rochester, I still stayed in touch and visited her when I was in town with my family. I enjoyed and remembered those visits immensely well. Over the years, I wasn’t as diligent as I should have been checking in with her from time to time, but she was still on my mind. At my Mother’s 90th birthday a couple of years ago, I had the opportunity to see her, and it was a truly joyful time. Not only was I celebrating my Mother’s birthday, but I was also seeing my Laura and being together with all the Borreggine Family. May she now rest in peace with all of her family. May Jesus be there to welcome her with open arms.
