Laura C. Richter Passed on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Born in Havana, Cuba on May 18, 1953. Predeceased by her parents, Delfina & Guy Salom; husband, Michael Richter, and brothers-in-law, John, Mark, & Eric Richter. Laura is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Richter; brother Guy; partner, William Voigt and his loving family; extended family, Susan Lipka, Dr. Carole Peterson, Ken Vasile, Blaire (Witt Gatchell), Colin (Carli Hunt), and Evan Davis (Kayla Seneca), as well as, many other close friends & colleagues. Laura was a loving mother, partner, and friend, who will best be remembered for her wisdom, advice, affection, and laugh. Laura enjoyed reading, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends in the 1000 islands & Adirondacks. She dedicated her professional life to women's health starting as a hospital administrator and moving on to private practice administrator for both OB/GYN and dermatology practices, for over 30 years. Laura's life story will be shared during her visitation, Monday, January 22nd, 4-7 PM at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane, (Between 390 & Long Pond Rd.) Her prayer service will be held Tuesday, January 23rd at 12 PM at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (meet at Dewey Ave. gate) with a reception to follow.
