  3. I have many memories of Laura and Mike, use go to their house after we had a Greece PAL program. Laura loved her work, she would tell us how much she liked it and they were real loving parents and so proud of their daughter, Katie, my prays the family, a great lost to the Community.

  4. Dear Katy,
We send our love and prayers. Laura was an exceptional neighbour, friend, COOK, and second mom to Bobby. I think Bobby was 4 when he brought home a Valentine heart he made in school. He gave it to Laura. We will miss her beautiful smile, sparkling eyes, and infectious laugh. I hear that laugh every time I think of her telling the story of how I sold the lamps from our living room at one of the Elmtree Road garage sales. Don and I met you, Katy, at Christmas-time, 1983. Your mom and dad invited us over to see a new member of the family. We were expecting to see a puppy. What a surprise to see you and a closet full of frilly dresses! Then came all of the fun birthday parties to celebrate the gift of your life. You were loved…a lot! I still hear her asking about childbirth after Bobby was born…I told her it was like an “out-of-body” experience. She commented, “so you’d do it again?” I replied, “OUT OF MY BODY, NOT OUT OF MY MIND!” 😆 The ending to that story is that Laura and I each has two perfect children. So many great memories. We are holding you in our hearts as you grieve, reminisce, and hopefully find a place for a smile or two. We are here for you…always.
