I believe we grew up together on Long Pond Road. I lived @ 1180 Long Pond Road with my parents. I was going through my 1962 Greece Olympia High School book and found Lee’s name. Sorry to hear of Lee’s passing, Greg
Susan M Harnischfeger Relation to Deceased: Daughter I miss you everyday and i miss our lunches. Hope you are watching over us! You touched so many lives! Love you Dad The butterfly emerges from its silken shell- Reborn, it arises, no longer bound to earth. Free at last, the butterfly glides to heights unknown before. So do our loved ones find a beautiful release as, earthbound no more, they leave our sight and joyfully rise to a garden of matchless beauty, a place of light and peace. -Evelyn Phillips
Steve Roethel Relation to Deceased: Ret coworker of Son John Awesome slideshow. It’s obvious that Lee loved his family– especially his grandchildren. No doubt, he will surely be missed at the ball games. RIP Lee
Scott Redding Relation to Deceased: Friend My memories of Mr. Harnischfeger take me back to my childhood and one of my fondest childhood memories, camping at Hamlin Beach State Park. Mr. Harnischfeger always spent time with all of us kids and played softball with us every evening. It was role models like Lee that have inspired me to be the type of dad that I am today, one that puts his kids first, which Lee always did. I would like to thank him for his positive influence on my childhood and for contributing to the fun we all had. The butterfly emerges from its silken shell- Reborn, it arises, no longer bound to earth. Free at last, the butterfly glides to heights unknown before. So do our loved ones find a beautiful release as, earthbound no more, they leave our sight and joyfully rise to a garden of matchless beauty, a place of light and peace. -Evelyn Phillips
James B Relation to Deceased: Neighbor Lee was a great neighbor. He would stop and talk to me while he was on his walks. He made my day on more than one occasion. He will be greatly missed. I always looked forward to our chats.
David & Linda Cooley Relation to Deceased: Friends The memorial tribute to Big Lee was a tear jerker, what a great man, who had a great family. He will be missed dearly, by all who knew him, Rest in heaven Big Lee. Love Dave & Linda Cooley The butterfly emerges from its silken shell- Reborn, it arises, no longer bound to earth.
