Linda was born on May 7, 1931 to William and Anne Cross in Canandaigua, NY. Linda enjoyed playing basketball, soccer and bowling in high school and college. She loved the physicality of competing. She was also the Drum Majorette in her high school band. Linda was a sports fan and her favorite teams were NY Yankees and the Buffalo Bills. During her adult years, she was employed at the U.S. Postal Service on Lake Avenue in the town of Charlotte. She worked there as a Clerk and loved her job. During Linda's free time, she enjoyed relaxing at home with a glass of wine and playing games of Scrabble, Jumble and Crossword puzzles. Some of her most memorable times were spent on weekend trips to Canandaigua Lake. Linda was very down to earth, social, intelligent and was not afraid to speak her mind. She was also active, loving and respectful. Linda will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by many family and friends.
