  1. While we are saddened with her leaving us we are grateful for the times shared. Through her children we have grown to learn what true friends and unexplainable generosity means. We will miss her dearly…

  2. Mrs. Ingram was a wonderful, kind hearted woman and teacher. She had a special way of making her students want to learn while making it humorous. I still laugh and re tell the stories she told over the years and will always be thankful that she was my teacher. She will be greatly missed and I will continue to carry on the fond memories and knowledge she shared. My thoughts and prayers are with her friends and family during this difficult time.

  3. Remembering so well the stories Linda’s students would share about the great fun & deep learning they experienced in her classes. They had such affection and respect for her warmth and her excellence. She truly was an inspiration to me, and her wonderful humor brought many a smile on much needed days. How fortunate we all were to have her in our lives.

  5. I did not know Linda well, but I will be forever grateful for her ability to enthrall her students (especially my two children)and guide them into the fascinating world of chemistry. She had a special ability and I will always remember the stories my children shared about her classes. Wishing you a peaceful journey from here, Linda.

  6. I will miss you, Linda! You were an amazing woman with a tremendous witt. I loved your sense of humor and positive attitude about everything in life. You have touched the hearts of so many people in this world. Your memory lives on in the lives of the people you have impacted. Love, Lisa

  7. I will miss you Linda. You made Athena a place to look forward to the way you brightened up a room. Your students will be forever in your debt. We are lucky to have had you in our lives.

  8. Jennifer Lynd purchased flowers (Loving Lilies & Roses Bouquet)

Our hearts are saddened by your loss and our thoughts and prayers are with you. We love you. Love and Prayers, The Lynd and Garrison Family

  9. There’s a line in the movie Stand By Me that sums up how I feel, hearing about Linda’s passing: “Although I haven’t seen her in more than 30 years, I know I’ll miss her forever.” Linda and I were good, good friends in high school, sharing secrets, getting into trouble, and growing up (or not!) together. I remember many afternoons and evenings spent at her house, laughing and gossiping and getting up the courage to ask a boy to one of the school dances. My heart goes out to her family, whose world will be less joyful without her. I’m so glad her spirit touched mine in this world, and wherever she is today – they can’t believe their good fortune.

Bon voyage, “Foge” – you will always live in my heart.
    Love, “Ka-brinkus”

  10. Mrs. Ingram was such a wonderful woman. I always looked forward to any chance to chat, and to hear her laughter. I am deeply saddened for the loss to all her family, friends and students. She will be INCREDIBLY MISSED and DEARLY REMEMBERED.

  11. Linda, you are going to be missed by so many people! In our high school days, you were always a happy go lucky gal. You brought light and smiles for everyone you met! Our Reunions: I don’t think that you missed any of them. At the 40th we were in the front row with our 69 bennies. I still have the pics! I missed out 45th, and that may have been the last time I could have seen you! I love you Linda, may you rest in peace with the Lord!

  12. Linda and I shared many mutual loves: the Yankees, Derek Jeter, the love of our pets, the joy of teaching, and sharing the many, many stories about these loves. My classroom door was her first stop on her way out of school at the end of the day. I loved her dearly and miss her already.

  13. One of the most entertaining, loving people I have ever met. I enjoyed every minute I spent with teaching with Linda. Between lighting herself on fire, coming to school with pants chewed up by her dogs, and her stories about working in the morgue, she kept all of us (her students and friends) engaged. I will miss her immensely.

  14. I’m sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. I know that no words can help ease the pain and loss that you are feeling right now. You are in my every prayer and thought.

  15. Linda, I will miss your wave and smiles you always sent across the street. I will always remember how nice you were after I swerved to avoid a deer and ran into your mailbox instead!!!! Your love for your family, students, and friends was infectious and made us all better people for knowing you!!!!! Miss you my friend!!!

  16. Linda’s smile and devilish spirit created a fun atmosphere at Athena, in and out of her classroom. I enjoyed working with Linda as much as her students enjoyed learning from her. There is no better tribute than to say that everyone touched by Linda is better for knowing her.

  17. Linda will be missed by so many of us who enjoyed her wit and love of family and friends. Her high school friends will always be blessed by her willingness to host us at so many fun weekends at Honeoye cottage. Love and prayers to her and to her children and grandchildren.

  18. Ms. Ingram was not only a great teacher, but a great individual! Being one of her many students from Greece Athena, she made chemistry class and the lab sessions fun. I’m glad I had the opportunity to learn from her. She will definitely be missed.

She was a part of the reason I went into the science field. She will be greatly missed. We love you Mrs. Ingram!

  25. Linda and I would meet everyday same time & place for our break. She taught in the HS, I in the Middle. We laughed Everyday! I was dating a fireman, she was married to hers. We both had family cottages and shared “summer stories”. She was a Great teacher and I’m very sorry for your loss.

I know that you are in a much better place with Gary and all of your pets. Will miss you dearly, God Bless.

  28. Linda was a wonderful, beautiful, amazing woman and teacher…loved and admired by all who knew her. She is part of my fondest memories of my years at Athena. May God welcome you with open arms and hold you in the palm of His hand.

  29. Linda was a beautiful person and an asset to Athena HS. My children loved her as their teacher and I was glad I got to know her as a colleague.

She inspired me to have fun in the science classroom. And, she was a warm human being and always made the person she was talking with feel special.
