We’ve been away, but were so sad to read this on our return. We’ve been with all our children, so the joy of family is fresh, and we can’t imagine how painful this must be.
Our love to you,
Frank & Sue
I am beyond heartbroken to hear of Marc’s passing. I have the most wonderful memories of Marc growing up in our very close knit neighborhood. He had one of the gentlest souls I’ve ever encountered. Such a good friend. My condolences to his entire family. He will never be forgotten. God Bless You All.❤️
When a young boy Marc went camping with us at Wellesley Island. We would sit on
a big rock and look out over the St. Lawrence River Canadian channel, and we called it our “picture window to the world”. Sometimes we would watch a beautiful sunset and
sing a few bars from Canadian Sunset.
Once after returning from camping, with our open camper in the driveway, and while busy putting things away, Marc’s family came to pick him up. But, Marc couldn’t be found. After much searching of the house, neighborhood, and calling out, someone looked in the camper and there was Marc, sound asleep on one of the beds. He must have had too much fun on his camping trip.
As a young adult, at Loon Lake, we taught him to use the motor boat. After enjoying boating around the lake we noticed that he was coming in to the dock too fast and narrowly avoided a collision. When asked why he came in so fast, he said “you forgot to show me where the brakes were”
In recent years we enjoyed long humorous phone messages from “Marcee Marc”. We just loved his sense of humor
