July 15, 2016. Mary is predeceased by her husband, Vincent Ventimiglia & brother, Armando Ritondale. She is survived by her children, Linda (Doug) Lynch, Vincent A. (Marilyn) Ventimiglia, Annemarie (Michael) McNaughton, Roseann (Seth Fidel) Ventimiglia, Alphonse (Vanessa Rita) Ventimiglia; grandchildren, Shannon (Jeremy) Hogan, Julie (James Ward) Lynch, Douglas Jr. (Dana) Lynch, Alana (Fiance Erik Schiefer) Ventimiglia, Danielle (Fiance Tom Diakogiannis) Ventimiglia, Jenni (Fiance Joe Polimeni) Ventimiglia, Kerri (Travis) Clinch, Brandon (Catherine) McNaughton, Emma Fidel, Jonah Fidel, Nicolette (James Ling) Ventimiglia, Alec Ventimiglia & Samantha (Mike Hoover) Ventimiglia; 10 great-grandchildren; brother Aldo (Angie) Ritondale; several nieces and nephews, dear friend Julie DiMaria. Mary's visitation will be Tuesday 4-8 PM. Her Funeral Mass will be Wednesday 9:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 2400 W. Ridge Rd., followed by her Entombment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Alzheimer's Association, 435 E. Henrietta Rd., in Mary's memory. Mary was born on January 21, 1926 in Chicago, IL. Mary met her husband Vincent through his brother who lived next door to her in Calabria, Italy. Mary & Vincent were married, moved to America and went on to have 5 children, Vincent Jr., Linda, Annemarie, Roseann & Alphonse. Mary's most favorite life events were celebrating the holidays, birthdays and having Sunday dinner with her family. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning, baking and canning. Mary was known to make the most delicious food, especially homemade cookies, sauce, pizza and jello. During her leisure, Mary enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune, Golden Girls, Jeopardy and Shirley Temple movies. She also loved the music of Andrea Botticelli. Mary was described as a unique, feisty, kind and a selfless person. She was also very traditional, thoughtful, generous, forgiving and always put others first. Mary will be dearly missed and she will always be remembered in the hearts and minds of many loved ones and friends.
