Mark, Rest in peace. You were a true gentleman and a great friend. You will be sorely missed by all whose life was better for having known you and shared your friendship. I am one of many –

Mark was a dear childhood friend of mine. We used to play football together in the neighborhood lots, and he was very good. He once graciously gave me an old pair of his football cleats, which I cherished. R.I.P. old friend.
Uncle Mark was a loving and caring man and an incredibly hard worker. While he was not truly my uncle, he held the role beautifully and I always felt happy when I was around him. I am very sad to hear about this loss, for his family and friends, for all those he has positively influenced. He was a good man and today I have his laugh and voice in my head just the same as when I was a little boy listening to him cheer on the sidelines of my soccer games. Thank you for your service, thank you for your love and thanks for being my uncle.
Our deepest condolences to Gloria and Family. We got to know Mark has our neighbor, he was a kind man, and we enjoyed his stories. We would always see Marc tending to his garden in the summertime and digging out Gloria’s vegetable patch. He will be sadly missed such a great guy and family man. Our prayers are with you all during this time. Paul & Lillie. Caroline & Linda.
Marky, I’ve known you for 50 years, so

Mark was the epitome of a true gentleman. The true gentleman is man whose conduct proceeds from good will and an acute sense of propriety, whose self-control is equal to all emergencies, who does not make the poor man conscious of his poverty, the obscure man of his obscurity, or any man of his inferiority or deformity, who is himself humbled if necessity compels him to humble another, who does not flatter wealth, cringe before power, or boast of his own possessions or achievements, who speaks with frankness but always with sincerity and sympathy, whose deed follows his word, who thinks of the rights and feelings of others, rather than his own, and who appears well in any company, a man with whom honor is sacred and virtue safe.
See you on the flip side ol’ buddy!
