Mary Ann E. Agostinelli

January 29, 1936 ~ May 3, 2026

Born in: Rochester, NY
Resided in: Rochester, NY

Mary Ann Agostinelli (Saetta) of Greece, New York, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 3, 2026, leaving behind a legacy rooted in faith, family, and unwavering devotion to those she loved.

Born to Michael and Margaret Saetta, Mary Ann was raised in a close-knit family and carried those values with her throughout her life. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Michael L. Saetta, with whom she is now reunited.

Mary Ann graduated from Nazareth Academy in 1954 and began her career at Kodak the following year. Over the course of 36 dedicated years, she built a strong work ethic and lasting relationships before retiring in 1991. Her professional life reflected the same consistency and commitment that defined her personally.

A proud and devoted Catholic, Mary Ann’s faith was a quiet but constant presence in her daily life. Prayer was part of her routine, offering her both strength and comfort.

Outside of work, Mary Ann found her greatest joy in the simple, meaningful moments of life. She loved to cook, her kitchen was truly her happy place, and she was an avid reader who always appreciated a good book. More than anything, she cherished her family. She spoke of them often and with immense pride, holding each of them close to her heart.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Lisa (Rob) Cammilleri; her beloved grandchildren, Danielle (Brad Finewood) and Robby (Andrea); and her cherished great-granddaughter, Giuliana “Gigi,” who brought her endless happiness. Mary Ann adored Gigi and never missed a chance to shower her with hugs, kisses, and affection.

Mary Ann also leaves behind her devoted dog, Coco, who she spoiled endlessly. It brought her comfort to know Coco will continue to be loved and cared for as part of her daughter’s family.

She will be especially remembered for the little things that meant so much, like never missing a birthday or holiday. Mary Ann was known for her persistence, calling again and again until she could personally sing “Happy Birthday” to each loved one. Those calls, filled with love and determination, will be deeply missed.

Though she kept a small circle, her friendships were meaningful and genuine. She held her dear friends Beverly, Joanna, Maureen, and Mark in the highest regard, grateful for their companionship, support, and shared moments.

Mary Ann had a spirited personality and was affectionately described as an “Italian jalapeño”-a little spicy but always followed by a warm smile. Beneath that spark was a woman with a generous heart, full of love for her family and friends, who were the center of her world.

Mary Ann’s graveside prayer service will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, May 12th at the Resurrection Garden Mausoleum Chapel in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2461 Lake Avenue, 14612. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary Ann’s memory to Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Road, Fairport, NY 14450 honoring her love for animals.

Mary Ann’s life was one of devotion, resilience, and deep love. She will be remembered always and missed beyond measure.
