I was so very sorry to hear tonight about Mary Ann when I called my brother John. He was at the funeral home. Sending my deepest sympathy to all the family. Very sad indeed!!……I haven’t seen Mary Ann in many years but I remember her beautiful smile well. Sincerely, Kathy Warney Dyrland Webster Kirkland, Arizona
So sorry, please accept our heartfelt sympathy. Mary was “one of a kind” and I really enjoyed my phone visits with her. Hearing her different stories about camp, cooking the venison liver, to her childhood memories they were all great visits. They were good neighbors and Mary will be missed hear in the Canisteo Valley!!
Hello David, Roxanne, Jerry and families,
I am so sorry to hear of Mary Ann’s passing. I remember her artistic ability and sense of style. I remember her ironing her hair on the ironing board with the clothes iron in your basement — a woman before her time — and before flat irons! I also will remember her sense of fun and humor. Who cannot hear her voice now imitating ‘sister Paschal?!’ I enjoyed seeing the video and photos — of all of you and your parents. The friendships on Oakridge and Tyringham were very special and lifelong, starting with Cos and Howie and Ceil and Marie and filtering down through us kids. I wish you all peace at this difficult time.
Love, Julie
