  1. Rod and Millie Lowe Relation to Deceased: Neighbor and Friends We have lost our special friend and neighbor, Mary, after 20 years of the very best kind of friendship. We would visit and talk about our families, have a light meal, and maybe a drink of khalua and always with love and a kiss. We will miss Mary so much and her prayers will always be with us.

  2. Linda Palumbo Relation to Deceased: Friend I meet Mary through my husband, Gene Francione, when he started delivering “Meals on Wheels” to her about seven years ago on Fridays. She invited Gene and his “Meals on Wheels” partner, Gloria, in for coffee. I later joined the group. Mary labeled it the “Friday Party”. Mary made the coffee for the four of us. Gloria and I alternated bringing the lunch. The Meals on Wheels lunch was put aside. We had coffee and lunch with Mary every Friday. It was such a “delight” to know Mary. We enjoyed our time with Mary so much. She will be sadly missed by Linda, Gene & Gloria. Safely Home

  3. Jay Shafer Relation to Deceased: Great-nephew I still remember with great cherishment the anticipation of going to Aunt Mary’s as a youngster. I remember the beach, trying to get water to follow our sand trenches, Aunt Mary’s rock garden and I vividly remember her grabbing a garden rake and using it to retrieve something we lost in the water. I remember her making us use the toilet which was near the outside door so we wouldn’t track sand in her house. I remember the food and, especially, the watermellons. The butterfly emerges from its silken shell- Reborn, it arises, no longer bound to earth. Free at last, the butterfly glides to heights unknown before. So do our loved ones find a beautiful release as, earthbound no more, they leave our sight and joyfully rise to a garden of matchless beauty, a place of light and peace. -Evelyn Phillips
