Mary Ann was a generous, loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister aunt. Survived by her loving husband David M. Karns Sr; her parents, John Mary (Petrillo) Scibilia; sons daughters-in-law, John (Mindy Fordham), David M. Jr. (Stephanie), Gerald (Marisa), Kenneth, Kevin (Jenna) Shannon Karns; sisters brothers-in-law, AnnaMarie (Louis) Brongo, Kathleen (Gerald) Cameron, Susan (Terry) Horne, Margaret Vogel Christine (Dave Cicoria) Scibilia; grandchildren, Nicole, Michael, Danielle, Joshua, Justin, Joseph, Julia Madison Karns, Elijah Walters; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins close friends; her constant companions, Bingo, Rocky Buddy

Services
Mary Ann's visitation will be held 2-6PM on Sunday at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Ln (between Rte 390 Long Pond Rd) Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:30 AM on Monday at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 4100 Lyell Rd.

The family would like to thank Dr. Joseph A. DiPoala Jr. and the staff at Ridgeview Internal Medicine Group as well as Dr. James White and Karen Frutiger at the Arterial Pulmonary Hypertension Program at URMC.
Mary Ann always did the puzzle and the jumble in the daily D C. She loved her computer. You would find her playing games on Facebook, Pogo, or sometimes just browsing through the JC Penney and Vera Bradley websites. Mary Ann loved to shop on line.
David and Mary Ann loved their families intensely. She was the happiest when her house was filled with people, always looking forward to visits from her children, grandchildren, parents, and siblings. Even though some of her closest friends moved away, she kept in touch with them.
Baking Christmas cookies was an event at Mary Anns. Granddaughters, sisters and nieces all participated. Big pots of sauce and big kettles of soup were served-up weekly in her kitchen. Mary Ann loved to cook and eat, and enjoyed going out to restaurants with the family.
She loved Country music, concerts, the NYS Fair (and fried dough). Visiting her parents in Florida. Driving Grandma back from Florida while Grandpa took an airplane. She loved watching cooking programs and reality TV.
