Ruth Waldron I remember meeting for Bible studies at Mary’s house – her friendly hospitality was so welcome! I’m sorry she’s gone from this earth since she’ll be missed so much by the family and friends she loved so dearly. Yet it’s good to realize she’s definitely in heaven waiting for all to get there and join her in that much better place! May God’s grace and love comfort your hearts until you see her again! The butterfly emerges from its silken shell- Reborn, it arises, no longer bound to earth. Free at last, the butterfly glides to heights unknown before. So do our loved ones find a beautiful release as, earthbound no more, they leave our sight and joyfully rise to a garden of matchless beauty, a place of light and peace. -Evelyn Phillips

Lauren E Gerber Relation to Deceased: Former Colleague Mary and I worked together for three years, and during that time we became fast friends. She was so kind to me, and quick to laughter, as well as joy. She sometimes called me “flip flop” girl, because I loved flip flops and wore them often in the summer — they often warned everyone I was on the way down the hall. I adored Mary for her integrity, friendliness, smiling face, and the simple pleasures she received from family and friends. I cannot imagine this world without Mary, but I know that she is at peace and looking down at all of us with her kind smile. I love you, Mary. Rest in peace! The celebration of life, shared in the beginning, and again, in the end. Yet we forget to celebrate it, in every moment we live. Time, days, years, go on, but are we alive? Alive and do not know it, sleeping in the world and dead to the life we are to live. To celebrate all life, the sparrow who sang in the morning, and died in the night, why do we not celebrate its life? To know thyself is to know you are alive – to give, to love, to seek truth, beauty, and suffer pain. In life as it is meant to be, pain is forgotten, and strength is all that’s left to be gained in the moment by moment celebration of life. By Deborah Peabody
Elizabeth Barry I was so sorry to hear of Mary’s passing. I attended high school with Mary and I remember her as one of the most kind, warm and genuine classmates one could ask for. To Mary’s family and loved ones please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Darren Williams Relation to Deceased: Sons Friend Mary was God’s child and celebrated life and was always thinking of others. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Mary will be looking after her loved ones from above. You will be missed and always remembered. I think no matter where you stray, That I shall go with you a way. Though you may wander sweeter lands, You will not forget my hands, Nor yet the way I held my head Nor the tremulous things I said. You will still see me, small and white And smiling, in the secret night, And feel my arms about you when The day comes fluttering back again. I think, no matter where you be, You’ll hold me in your memory And keep my image there without me, By telling later loves about me. Dorothy Parker
Alice Jones M Relation to Deceased: Friend I remember meeting Mary for the first time. After a few minutes I felt like I’d known her for a lifetime. She was so loving and happy and I knew from the first moment how much she loved the Lord. When I was going through a rough time she told me “this is easy for the Lord, just give it to Him” And she was right. I’m so thankful my daughter Patty married into her family. Mary was such an inspiration and godly example for her. I would like to to present this verse to Marys family; I think it is how Mary thought: Psalm 27:4-5 “One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek Him in His temple. For in the day of trouble He will keep me safe in His dwelling; He will hide me in the shelter of His tabernacle and set me high upon a rock.” I care deeply for all of you and send my love. Alice Those we love remain with us for love itself lives on, and cherished memories never fade because a loved one’s gone. Those we love can never be more than a thought apart, far as long as there is memory, they’ll live on in the heart.
