Tony Fraboni Relation to Deceased: Collage classmate of Mike @ SU Had many fond in depth conversations with Pat during visits with Mike when I lived in Rochester. He always challenged your knowledge on a variety of topics, but always ended with “Can we get you anything to eat” at which time he would call for Ruth to commence cooking. The butterfly emerges from its silken shell- Reborn, it arises, no longer bound to earth. Free at last, the butterfly glides to heights unknown before. So do our loved ones find a beautiful release as, earthbound no more, they leave our sight and joyfully rise to a garden of matchless beauty, a place of light and peace. -Evelyn Phillips
Doug R Childs Relation to Deceased: My 4 th grade teacher Mr. Latona was my fourth grade teacher at the old bus garage building at Greece Central. The gym was divided in half with wall board and our room was on one side of the small gym. Our coats and lockers were up on the stage behind the curtain. The gym also served as an auditorium back in the day. I remember Mr. Latona as a nice teacher and remember him reading to us….Winnie The Poo stories I especially have memories of his son Mike. Mike was our basketball scorekeeper at Greece Arcadia! When Mike graduated from collage he wrote great articles for the Greece Post in the sports section. I always enjoyed talking to Mike about his father and his father’s teaching days. Doug Childs
Betty Raudonat Carroll Relation to Deceased: Student I have few memories anymore of my grammar school yrs. But of the few Mr Latona and his World books are one of my favorites… The books were well used by us all up until we sold are family home in Greece in 2002. I know that Mr. Latona was a large part in the success of MANY people who were lucky to know him. REST PEACEFULLY as the teaching if finally done.
