Remembering Max
He was the second child of Max and Dora’s four children. He followed in his older brother’s footsteps by attending Edison Tech and Clarkson College, where he earned a degree in Engineering. He took his standing as second seriously, always serving Christ and others before himself.
He was the first and only amongst his siblings in many respects:
– earn a doctorate (UCONN)
– earn a Fulbright Scholarship work/study in the Max Planck Institute in Berlin
– get a pilot’s license
– compile books for the German Federation
– work and or study in five different states and multiple companies
Being the consummate student, he continued studies at RIT into his seventh decade.
He was active in the German Federation, helping out with the German Fest. His passion was to share the history and culture of Germany with others. He painstakingly made the table placards and set up and manned the German information table. He enjoying listening as others told of their connection to Germany.
The family wishes to thank the Staff at Unity Hospital and Hildebrandt for their loving care of him.
