  1. Patty Sweeney-Taub Relation to Deceased: Family Friend Oh, the memories I have of mike. There are many, many of them over the years. To this day I think of Mike when I hear a corny joke (he was a master of them) or smell the scent of bacon cooking. I can’t get into a canoe to this day without thinking of Mike. He was always so patient and generous with the sharing of his canoe. He was a dear, sweet man that touched my life. If I could say anything to Mike now, I’d say “thank you, thank you for being you and for just being there”. I will forever have loving and fond memories of Mike. And I know when my time comes, Mike will have the flag raised and waving and that’s how I’ll find him in heaven.

  2. Laura Walters Relation to Deceased: Friend Katie my heart breaks for your loss of Mike. Please know I’m here when ever you need me. In a bittersweet moment Another Angel has found their wings & has set off on flight Safe into the arms of God & to those gone before them

  3. Junior Davis I am going to miss you more than words can say…I will cherish forever the time that we did have together and everything that you did to encourage me. I love you my friend forever and always. Till we meet again. Your friend forever. J.R. The butterfly emerges from its silken shell- Reborn, it arises, no longer bound to earth. Free at last, the butterfly glides to heights unknown before. So do our loved ones find a beautiful release as, earthbound no more, they leave our sight and joyfully rise to a garden of matchless beauty, a place of light and peace. -Evelyn Phillips

  4. Becky Abel Katie you are in my thoughts and prayers that God will comfort you and bring you peace in this time of sorrow. I’ll always have an ear open for you whenever you need me.

  1. Doug Northrup Relation to Deceased: Nephew Every Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day my family would join Mike and Kay at their camp on Bullhead pond. It was a small cabin in the Adirondacks and room was tight, but somehow we managed. In the mornings you could hear the screen door close, as neighbors would come and go. The magical smell of bacon cooking on the stove, mixed with the fresh, clean mountain air is a memory that I’ll take with me forever. Mike and Kay were a huge part of a wonderfull childhood! He will be missed.
