Honoring the Beautiful Life of Michael Sepulveda

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we share that our beloved brother, son, friend, and educator, Michael Sepulveda, recently suffered a catastrophic health event. While he is currently stabilized in the hospital, it breaks our hearts to share that Michael will not be able to return to us and will soon be taken off life support to transition peacefully.

As we prepare to say our final goodbyes, we are rallying friends, family, loved ones, and the Rochester community to honor Michael’s incredible life. We are raising funds to cover the costs of his memorial service and to provide vital financial support for his family as they navigate this unimaginable loss and try to move forward.

To know Michael was to know a room filled with laughter and stories. He was a vibrant soul, fiercely unique, and unapologetically himself. He was always ready with a funny thought or song, filling the world around him with incredible energy. Those who know Michael know that he was the kind of person who would share everything he had just to make someone else smile, always striving to make a difference in the lives of others, even when he was navigating his own difficult times.

Michael’s heart was always rooted in his family and his community. He is a devoted son, grandson, and brother, loving his mother, grandmother, and brother immensely. As a fiercely close-knit family, his loss leaves a void that can never be filled. A proud graduate of the School of the Arts (SOTA) where he majored in vocal performance, he chose to give back to the very district that helped raise him. His deepest professional goal was to find purpose by helping others and being the same meaningful, supportive adult that others had been for him.

He lived that mission each day at Loretta Johnson Middle School, where he served as a dedicated classroom support professional. He poured his boundless love, patience, and humor into his students, hoping to leave a lasting impact on their lives. Michael gave so much of himself to his family, his friends, and his students.

Michael’s lifestory will be shared during visitation, 3:00-5:00 pm on Friday, October 9th at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane. His celebration of life service will follow at 5:00pm.

Donations are gratefully accepted via a gofundme page for Michael: Fundraiser by Christian Ramirez : Honoring Michael Sepulveda’s Beautiful Life. Donations will go directly toward organizing a beautiful service worthy of Michael’s spirit and easing the sudden financial burden on his family so they can focus on grieving and healing.

Thank you for helping us honor the unforgettable life of Michael Sepulveda.
