My deepest condolences to you all. My heart sunk when I heart your father had passed. I remember him being a calm, funny man and cracking me up in your kitchen when we were young. You’re family has been in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Monica Ciadella
May God bless and comfort Mike’s family during this difficult time. He touched many young lives through his ministry at St. Charles. Our children were enriched by his faith and caring. He will be greatly missed. May Mike rest in peace, and his friends and family find solace in many loving memories.
I first met Mike last year at Ginna and had the good fortune and pleasure of working with him for most of 2015. Mike had such a unique way about him that’s rarely seen: professional, dedicated, enthusiastic, hard-working, smart, witty, personable, down-to-earth, and to top it all….fun! I especially enjoyed it when Mike would get up and speak in front of the various groups at Ginna…he had a knack for keeping things interesting, humorous, and “getting it right”. Mike’s great laugh and sayings will always stick with me…”hear me now, believe me later”… Mike’s family and his extended Ginna family have lost a real gem of a man. He was taken away far too soon. My condolences to Mike’s family and his friends at Ginna.
My condolences to the Vail Family – Mike was a great friend, mentor and boss. I am devastated by his passing and miss him much. My thoughts and prayers are will be with Mike and the Vail Family.
It has been a few years since I left Ginna. But, I remember Mike was very involved in church and family. I don’t know if he coined the following phrase, but, he used it frequently: See Ya’ ( in heaven )
Big Mike you will be missed. Prayer’s to the entire Vail family from his Calvert Cliffs Family. From one nuclear worker to another Rest in peace my friend.
Our thoughts and prayers to Gail and the entire Vail family. I bet St. Peter is still shaking his head after hearing Mike yell..”Oh! OH! OOOOOOOHHH!!!!” as he passed though the pearly gates…
I know I speak for the entire Accenture team in saying that Mike will be sincerely missed – but will always be remembered. He was incredibly clear thinking and demanding – he insisted on accountability and your best effort – while creating a fun, highly enjoyable work environment. He was so influential on all of us. Our thoughts are with the Vail family.
I haven’t seen Mike in a number of years, but I was sadden to read of his passing in today’s paper. I remember Mike as a man of faith and strength. He was such a good man, I have no doubt he has his place with God today.
My condolences to the Vail family. I am deeply saddened to hear about the loss of our friend Mike. I will miss our inside jokes and “one-liners” that we shared on a daily basis including the ones about the USS Lafayette.
I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He was a good guy and could always find a sense of humor in just about any situation. One of his sayings was ” your either onboard or your overboard”. May the family find comfort knowing he is in a better place. Prayers for Mike and his family.
