  1. I’m so sorry to hear about you passing . You were always my favorite cousin. So many memories. My heart goes out mostly to your mommy. May you dance in heaven with your angels and be with your grandma and poppa. Much love.
    Shannonlee

May God and peace be with your family . Love always.

  2. I worked with Michela when she was in pediatrics. When I think of her, I just smile as she made me laugh even on the hard days. There was one chemo medication she couldn’t say and she would say it over and over, then laugh as we tried to break it down in syllables with her. Silly but I think she kept doing it just to make us all laugh with her for a moment on busy days. We were all always trying to learn new medication names. It all happened in reverse when she tried to teach us Spanish. I know no words do justice to the pain in your hearts. But stories show she will always be remembered for the joy she shared. Blessings and hugs.

  3. Our hearts are with your in this time of sorrow. Michela was cherished by many in our department and will always be remembered for her passion, kindness, strength, hard work and the faith and love she showed to everyone she met –
With heartfelt condolences, Strong Emergency Medicine

  4. I’m still trying to process the overwhelming emotions that have consumed me the last few days. Today was honestly one of the hardest days of my life, filled with endless tears, aching, and feeling empty inside, missing you, and not being able to hug you one last time. But today we celebrated your life, and it was beautiful. We praised your strength, your kindness, and your generosity. You’re no longer suffering, you’re no longer hurting from the pain you endured in that hospital room. You were surrounded by loved ones who cherished every moment with you, and it’s clear that you touched the lives of everyone you met. Your spirit is free, and you are home with God now. I find comfort knowing that he’ll take care of you and protect you just as he has your whole life. You’ll always be with me in spirit, and I will carry you in my heart forever. Continue watching over Me,Mom,Jaime, & Danielle
We love you more than words can express, We Love You GodMommy.🩷

  5. Where do I start, My heart is broken for my friend. When I worked for Strong Peds, Michela was a person that accepted me, trained me, befriended me and supported me during hard times. She made a huge impression on me. I wish that I had spent more time with her. But when we saw each each other we never skipped a beat of our friendship. Last couple of times I got to see her, was at the Rochester Public Market, she would come to my stand and visit and talk. I looked forward to seeing her and her big smile that she brought with her. She could be hurting and still smiled. Michela I will never forget you and I pray for you and your family and friends who knew your greatness in life. Strong woman that I respected and loved. Forever your friend. This is not good bye my friend, this is see you later. I felt horrible now being able to go to the hospital to see you, but I was very sick.

  6. Mrs. Fitzsimons, Sergio, Juliano and family. I was so sorry to hear of Michela’s passing. I worked with her at MIPS and remember her fondly. She was fun to be around, a hard worker and we traded recipes. Please except my condolences.
