Zacks, Paul M. October 16, 2015. Devoted father, husband, son and brother, talented guitarist, dedicated software engineer, and good-humored trekkie and Bills fan, Paul Zacks passed away unexpectedly surrounded by his loving family. Paul is survived by his wife, Carolyn A.(Bussi) Zacks; children, Katie & Tommy Zacks; his parents Michael and Barbara Zacks; brother, David J. (Tammy) Zacks; niece, Brittany Zacks; nephew, Brendan Zacks of Charlotte, NC; grandmother, Therese Skrzypczak; aunts, Christine (Rich) Loosley, Pamela (Carl) Lechner; mother-in-law & father-in-law, Joseph (Jean) Bussi of Buffalo, NY; sister-in-law, Doreen (Timothy) Strzalka; niece & nephews, Bridget, Joey & Jack; also survived by many aunts, uncles & cousins. Paul was a graduate of McQuaid Jesuit High School & the University of Buffalo. He was employed by Varian Medical Systems where he worked as a Software Engineer. Paul's visitation will be held 3-7 PM on Tuesday, October 20 at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between Rte 390 & Long Pond Rd). His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at a time to be announced on Wednesday at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Ave. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Liver Assn, 25 Canterbury Rd, Suite 316, Rochester, NY 14607 in Paul's memory.
