  1. To Paul’s family and close friends our most heartfelt sympathy and condolence for the premature passing of such a beloved and special person. Although our hearts are heavy, and we are justifiably angry and hurt, remember our faith teaches us that light conquers darkness, life conquers death, and hope springs eternal.

  2. A good friend, an accomplished musician and a brother. Always quick with a smile and a joke. Kind hearted and rock solid. Gone way too early. He is missed.

  3. Truly, Paul will always be one of the most joyful and kind people we’ve ever known. Our love and condolences to the entire Zacks family.

  4. I’m not sure I have ever met and known a more likable guy than Paul. My heartfelt condolences to his family and those closest to him that will miss him most.

  5. I don’t really remember Paul as i was very young the last time i saw him but that doesn’t mean that he will not still be in me and my dads memories i wish i would have been able to know him but sadly that was not so. He will be missed.

  6. It was always a pleasure working and having some food with you when you came out to California to solve software issues with our x-ray program. I am sorry we never had a chance to play music together. My sincerest condolences to your family in this difficult time; may they find some measure of peace. You will be missed.

  13. Carolyn, I am very sorry for your loss. Paul was one of the funniest people I’ve ever met. His laughter will be missed.

  14. Although I did not have the fortune of knowing Paul better than I did, I will never forget how knowing him impacted me as aa young and aspiring musician. Dave and I spent a lot of time in Buffalo going to see, and hang out, with his band Scary Chicken. They were a very popular and talented band back in the day, and played many shows we got to see. Some opening or playing with Monkey Wrench, who later went on (at least some of them I believe) to become The GooGoo Dolls. I was always enamored by these experiences and Paul made sure we were well taken care of and introduced to all the guys. Going to after parties with the band’s made it even more memorable and I thank you for this time in my life. I looked up to you as a person and musician and will always cherish the days I was able to spend. I went on to work in the music industry and play festivals produced by members of the GooGoo Dolls and in some cosmic way, have you to thank for it. Our live and light to all those mourning your passing, and we’ll see you at the next gig.

  16. We all share the heartbreak of losing Paul. The hole in our hearts may never heal, but we will try to mend it with all the precious memories we have of his easygoing sense of humor, and the love and care he showed to all of his family and friends.
