Ralph E. Pate was a man of adventure, service, and community. As a U.S. Navy & Merchant Marine, he traveled the world, gaining a broad perspective on life and cultures. His dedication to others was evident in his active participation in charitable work, particularly for Masons and Shriners, where he helped support causes like children’s hospitals and community development. He was also deeply involved in his church and the Scottish Rite, where he embraced the values of service, brotherhood, and leadership.
Outside of his volunteer work, Ralph was an avid reader, always seeking knowledge and new ideas. His love for reading was matched only by his passion for diners, earning him the title of “diner connoisseur” as he explored hidden gems wherever he went.
