Passed away peacefully with his family by his side to meet his creator on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at the age of 78 years. He was a loving, devoted Husband, Father, Papa and Great Grandpa. He will be greatly missed by his loving soul mate of 54 years, Lorraine; his children, Karen Walker, Michael (Debra) Walker, Nancy (Michael) Ferrauilo; his grandchildren, Ashley (Bryan) Sobonya, Michael Walker, Olivia Ferrauilo, Emily Ferrauilo; great-granddaughter Addison Grace Sobonya. Whitey was a graduate of Franklin High School and Rochester Institute of Technology. He worked for 34 years at Eastman Kodak Company's Building 23, and 10 years at Greece Central School District. The family wishes to thank the staff at St. John's Home Hastings 2nd floor and Highland Hospital, West 5th floor for their loving care. The family will receive friends from 1-5 PM on Sunday at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Ln (between 390 Long Pond Rd). The celebration of Whitey's life will be at 10 AM on Monday at St. Lawrence Church, 1000 N. Greece Road. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 4053 Maple Rd, Suite 110, Amherst, NY 14226 in Whitey's memory.
