  1. WE LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU, BUT YOUR SPIRIT LIVES ON IN YOUR CHILDREN AND GOOD FRIENDS AND FAMILY, NO MORE PAIN. YOU ARE NOW SO HAPPY NOW.

  2. Mrs. Cignarale, I cherish the times I spent over your house playing with Chrissy. You and Mr. Cignarale would always make sure I was sent home with a can of spaghettios or vegatables from your garden. Thank you for all the fond memories at your house.

  3. Maureen Shaw purchased flowers (Medium Dish Garden)

With heartfelt sympathy from your LaserMax family.

  4. Rena was a good friend for many years. She was kind, thoughtful and had a great sense of humor. Although she will be missed very much, Rena is resting in the arms of Jesus whom she trusted. Her faith was in him alone.

  5. My most deep sympathy for the family for your loss. Your mom was a sweet, kind woman. You were so blessed to have had a mother so dear. I remember the task she took on as bus driver. She was always there for you kids and THAT’S what made her such an admirable woman. God Bless…
    Toni Cooper

  6. I remember Rena in my classes at Nazareth. She was always friendly, always smiling and a special person to all her classmates. Sorry to hear of her passing.

  7. aunt rena.. i most remember your smile.. and laugh..you were always…someone i wanted to see and be around.. hug my dad for me.. tell him he is missed as you will be .. ju andrea

  8. I have so many beautiful and fun memories of Rena from graduating together from Nazareth Academy in 1964 to entering the Convent together as Sisters of St. Joseph. We made an authentic Italian dinner starting with Lasagna to cannolis for dessert, from scratch for the entire Mother House once! We laughed a lot and cried a lot, too. Then at Most Precious Blood we continued our friendship, exchanging pictures of our kids and watching them grow, and praying together. I will always keep you in my heart, Rena. R.I.P – Rejoice In Paradise, my dear friend.

  9. Simply gonna miss you. My thoughts & prayers & heart go out to this family. Celebrate her life & never stop. Always say a prayer, it’s a song in their ears in heaven. Keep a smile, for she’d have your face with no other expression. God Bless…

  10. It’s not really a story. It’s a montage’ of memories. You can’t pick one thing about Aunt Rena. She always made you feel individually special every day. She’d take us for walks one by one. She let you help plant her daisies even tho you were more interested in the mud. She’d let you play in the pool even at dinner time, (as long as Uncle Frank was at work!). She let you constantly taste her cooking while cooking. She made the dough for the Christmas ornaments you always had to taste just because. She held her head high even in the darkest of moments. She never had a sour word to say about anything or anyone for any reason…”just let it go….” This woman, much like my Mother, always shared a smile & sweet scents. Her rose bushes were prize! Her birds would wait patiently outside on the railing for her just to look at them…
I remember the day they brought Maria home and the shine in her eyes as Uncle Frank tightly held the little bundle to his heart. She had that same look the day Christina (Emily Rose) came home with them. Her boys, tho different from eachother, were never different in her heart.
I remember the pool parties there when we were very young, then Aunt Mary’s pool parties began as we hit teenage years.
Always a full house of laughter & food.
As I said with Uncle Frank, I used to sleep above their heads on their pillows on sleepovers.
Now, she’ll be forever above my head, on the softest of pillows, surrounded by her bed of roses, daisies & family…
Sweet dreams Aunt Rena. Missing you somehow doesn’t seem like it’s enough. I love you.

  11. Aunt Rena was the best! What other aunt would let you make mud pies and then bake them you? You will be missed deeply. Please give Mom a kiss for me.

  12. May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived…Will always be in our hearts..

  13. Mom was a very special person to me while I taught at MPB School. I recall the day she watched the 2nd. grade while I went to take my drivers test. She was always giving of herself in many ways and never sought recognition. I enjoyed the times we shared together especially helping out at the bingo at MPB. She loved her children very much and worried about the future for them. My time at MPB were the best years of my life in my ministry especially knowing people like your mom. May you have peace of soul at this time of deep sorrow at the loss of mom & dad. You are in my thoughts and prayers.(former Sister Jean Ann, ASC)

  14. I GRADUATED FROM NAZARETH ACADEMY WITH RENA. SHE WAS SUCH A SWEET AND BEAUTIFUL PERSON. SHE HAD A SMILE FOR EVERYONE AND A GRACIOUS HELLO AS SHE APPROACHED YOU. YOU ALWAYS FELT SHE CARED ABOUT YOU. LATER, I HAD OPPORTUNITIES TO BUMP INTO HER AT MPB EVENTS. SHE NEVER CHANGED. MY DEEPEST SYMPATHIES TO HER CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN.

  15. To all the Cignarales my deepest sympathy. I always found your mom to be a kind and gentle woman. Be assured of my prayers during your time of grief.

  16. Mrs. Cignarale was always like a second mother to me whenever I would spend hours at her house with Chrissy. She had the warmest heart and kindest spirit.

  17. Tho we spoke for a while about the future you were facing, my heart was crying. You gave it your all, never once giving in. Your teachings here on earth & the lessons you needed to learn were done. God took you home finally to rest & be with all those you were missing for so long. I bought your rose bush today. I can see you vividly smelling them w/your sweet smile. Always loving you–Petunia
