You are in our hearts and prayers. We enjoyed getting to know Rick through the our years together watching the boys play baseball together. Rick will be remembered as a great person and will be missed. May memories of your loving husband and father bring you some comfort during this difficult time.
Rick was a wonderful man and I just want to offered my thoughts and prayers to his family. I was so lucky to have know Rick, talking 80’s music, sports or just saying hello for a few minutes. Rick always had time to listen and talk about anything and I will miss him. To Rick’s family I am so sorry for your loss but be proud that Rick is, was, and always will be remembered as wonderful man and a great friend to so many people.
Dear Kara,
I am so very sorry for this terrible event that has taken your husband Richard away from you, your children and family. Words cannot ease the pain however my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and can only hope that the fond memories and the best of times can help us to continue.
Dave
I am so very sorry for your loss. Rick was a wonderful man and will be missed by so many. I am so glad I had the opportunity to know and work with him. God Bless you Rick.
I am truly sorry for your loss of one of the most genuine guys I have ever known. I loved running into him and we would always talk sports. Our love of baseball and our sons playing Greece little league and basketball and baseball at Olympia. He was a wonderful guy and will truly be missed…..
Dear Kara – I am so very sorry for your loss. Please know that many of your Alfred State (Peet Hall) friends are praying for you and your family during this very difficult time. May you find comfort in good memories and the love of your family and friends. Sending much love and hugs.. Mary Ellen – 4th Floor Peet Hall alumn
We have known each other for years, our kids have spent a lot of time together through the years and we are so sad to hear of Rick’s passing. he was a good man that we have known since the kids played little League together and then began to hang out with each other more at our home after we moved into your neighborhood. We see Joey so much now and want you to know that anything at all that we can do…Just let us know. We will be keeping you all in our prayers and in remembering the great times our kids shared, know that he will still be watching over all of you.
I am so very sorry for your loss. Those words seem so unworthy for the magnitude of this tragedy but I wanted to send my thoughts and prayers to all involved. I worked many years ago with Butch, Rick’s dad and recall how proud he was of his son then. Butch, Joyce, the entire family, please accept my prayers for comfort and may the good Lord give you strength and compassion through this time. God bless you all, I am so very sorry.
My heart is breaking for this beautiful family. Having lost my father in a similar circumstance I know what chaos a tragedy like this can yield. Kara, I know finding strength for your children during this time will be the most difficult thing you’ve ever had to do, please don’t hesitate to reach out to friends and family for help and allow yourself to grieve. Joey and Ericka, losing a parent so young is one of the most terrible things you’ll ever have to endure, but I promise if you work through it you will find yourself to be a stronger person for that. Remember all that your father has taught you and his memory will always live on with you. He will always be with you as he has been ingrained in who you are. Although dealing with the magnitude of this loss will be enormous, please contact me if there is anything I can do do help alleviate any stress, even if it’s rides to baseball or whatever!! It can be overwhelming when everyone who cares about you tries to reach out at once, so I will respect the privacy of your family at this time but please know it helps anyone who cares about you if you can call upon them for anything, we’re more than happy to help!! Much love to your family,

I worked with Rick and would like to send my condolences to his family. He was taken away too soon but will live on in your hearts and the hearts of his friends forever. He will be missed by many.
I have no words that can possibly tell how much Rick will be missed. We can only keep Kara, Ericka and Joey in our prayers. Rick and I spoke often, mostly about our kids and fantasy football. His two loves unless the Red Sox were doing well. My shopping at Brockport Wegmans will never be the same, I would always talk with Rick for at least 30 minutes and my wife would want to know what takes me so long. When Jackie and I would go shopping together she would say get in and get what you need and don’t talk to anyone. Never happened when Rick was working.
Rick will be so missed by all that knew him.
My condolences to the family and extended family. My heart hurts so much as I write this. As many of you know and some of you may not I consider Ricky my Brother as well as having a special place in my life and my heart. Though we hadn’t spoke on a daily basis in many years it is not forgot all the time we spent together as younsters and young men. You will not be forgotten My Brother My friend…with Deepest Sympathy and Much Love Rest In Peace..
