Richard was a loving, caring and supportive father to: James (Eileen) Park, William (Karen) Park, Jane (Ralph) May, Sheila Park, Dan (Eileen Vocco) Park, Donna (Joseph) Ackerman; adoring grandchildren, Janelle, Mackenzie Park, Amylyn (Brendon) Turk, David, Jaclyn (Mike Buckley) Park, James, Colleen, Ryan Park, Daniel (Kendal) May, Elizabeth May, Brian Lester, Kristen (Sam) Lampuri, Matthew Ackerman Katie Ackerman; great-grandsons Gavin Turk Andrew Park; special friend Marilyn Gunderson; several nieces, nephews cousins and dear friends.
History
Richard`s greatest love was the time he spent with family. He was a supportive husband, caring father and an adoring grandfather. He could best be described as quiet, calm, methodical, meticulous, sensitive and caring. He enjoyed Jumble Puzzles, Root Beer Floats, golf, music, animals especially dogs, children, traveling, music, furniture refinishing, lottery scratch off tickets and spending time at the casino. Richard enjoyed eating breakfast, every morning Richard would have Puffed Rice, 1/2 of a grapefruit, chocolate cookie, cup of tea and a glass of orange juice for breakfast. Richard enjoyed eating lunch, he especially enjoyed eating lunch at the Long Pond Family Restaurant. He had three sayings that anyone close to him have heard many times and they are: "I`ll see you in my dreams," "where are we going today?" and "slow and steady wins the race."

Services
BARTOLOMEO PEROTTO Funeral Home, Inc., 1411 Vintage Lane (Between 390 Long Pond Rd.) where Richard's visitation will be Friday 4-8 PM. His Funeral Service will be celebrated Saturday 11 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Additional Information
Richard served in the US Navy from 1944-1946. He retired from Kodak where he had worked as a Commercial Artist.
