  1. I miss the 3 hour road trips to the res’ with my dad.. I loved talking to him about science, history, economics, old family stories, his childhood, and of course stories of when he was in the Navy. I’ve learned so much from him, and will cherish those memories (talks) forver <3

  2. I miss our daily talks and Dad telling me everything was going to be ok and not to work to hard. I feel like my world is different now. I feel a little lost without him. I have faith that we will all be together again and that somehow we can feel him near and remember all that he taught us. Please keep my Mom in your prayers and thank you to everyone who showed such love for my Dad.
    Love Sara

  10. Every Tuesday when I was 4 my Papa would always need to watch my older cousin Leah and me for the day while out parents were at work.He would lets us run around outside in the nice big yard. We would either just be on the small playground or just run around and play in the yard. We always had a good time. Love you Papa!!

  11. June 1998. There is truly no way to understand how much this day ment to me in words and I say that with all the my love and devotion to my family. It was my 21st birthday and Dad and I went to Niagara Falls Air Force Base for an air show and what a time we had. We laughed and told stories all day. The best part was seeing my Dad around all the Navy airplanes and the Blue Angels. He was so excited to buy me my first legal beer and I had to say no due to I was so sunburn that I needed water. We really laughed all day long and I will truly treasure that day for the rest of my life.

  12. Diane, just wanted you to know youe were in my thoughts and prayers. I am so sorry for your loss.

  13. Diane and family – we wish you peace in your hour of sorrow. As a family you are strong…hold each other close and remember all of the good times. Your dad was a good man and he loved you all more than he could easily say.

  14. An Irish Prayer God looked around His garden And found an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth And saw your tired face. He put his arms around you And lifted you to rest. God’s garden must be beautiful He always takes the best. He saw the road was getting rough And the hills were hard to climb, So He closed your weary eyelids And whispered “Peace be thine”. It broke our hearts to lose you But you didn’t go alone, For part of us went with you The day God called you home.
