  1. The Vileria Family Relation to Deceased: Friends We’re so thankful that the Lord drew us through his servant Bob into this Body of Christ. We only hope that the Lord will use our family as mightily as he has used Bob Chappell and the Chappell family. Our home now sits on a solid rock and we have Jesus, Bob Chappell and the Body of Christ to thank for that. Till we meet again… Eph. 5:1 1 John 3:11 Matt. 28:19, 20 The butterfly emerges from its silken shell- Reborn, it arises, no longer bound to earth. Free at last, the butterfly glides to heights unknown before. So do our loved ones find a beautiful release as, earthbound no more, they leave our sight and joyfully rise to a garden of matchless beauty, a place of light and peace. -Evelyn Phillips

  2. Susie Goggin Relation to Deceased: friend I will miss you Bob very much. You have been a blessing to all. Bob was a great pastor, friend, huband, and dad. My prayers are with his family. The celebration of life, shared in the beginning, and again, in the end. Yet we forget to celebrate it, in every moment we live. Time, days, years, go on, but are we alive? Alive and do not know it, sleeping in the world and dead to the life we are to live. To celebrate all life, the sparrow who sang in the morning, and died in the night, why do we not celebrate its life? To know thyself is to know you are alive – to give, to love, to seek truth, beauty, and suffer pain. In life as it is meant to be, pain is forgotten, and strength is all that’s left to be gained in the moment by moment celebration of life. By Deborah Peabody

  3. Richard Fabian Thank you for blessing me with your presence in my life. As God took you home to be with him he must have known the lives you had helped and as your familly continues to do your work watch over them and guide them so that one day their journey will be done just as you have served God. As is says in the Lords prayer your will be done.God Bless Pastor Bob Chappell The butterfly emerges from its silken shell- Reborn, it arises, no longer bound to earth. Free at last, the butterfly glides to heights unknown before. So do our loved ones find a beautiful release as, earthbound no more, they leave our sight and joyfully rise to a garden of matchless beauty, a place of light and peace. -Evelyn Phillips

  4. Larry & Regina Helfer Relation to Deceased: friend We know that Pastor Bob is with the Lord now, so those of us left behind will grieve, but we also know he is home now and we will see him soon. Sandy – we are with you, always Safely Home I am home in Heaven dear ones: Oh, so happy and so bright! There is perfect joy and beauty in this everlasting light. All the pain and grief is over, every restless tossing passed I am now at peace forever, safely home in Heaven at last. Then you must not grieve so sorely, for I love you dearly still; try to look beyond earth shadows, Pray to trust our Father’s will There is work still waiting for you, so you must not idly stand: do it now, while life remaineth you shall rest in Jesus’ land When that work is all completed, He will gently call you Home; oh the rapture of that meeting, oh the joy to see you come!

  5. Karen & Earl Young Relation to Deceased: Dear Friend You are a great inspiration and man of God. We thank you for your friendship, fellowship and leadership. As much as we miss you in the flesh, we are rejoicing that you are with Jesus and not suffering anymore. Prayers are continually with your loved ones. We will miss you Bob, but never will we forget you. In Christ we shall dwell. Safely Home I am home in Heaven dear ones: Oh, so happy and so bright!

  6. Joel & Capri Garrand We are saddened to here your life here on earth is complete but rejoice in your new life with the One who loves you most ! Thanks to your obedience to the Lord we have enjoyed almost 28 years of marriage. God bless you & Sandy & the rest of your family & friends. I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one, I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun. Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.

  7. Deborah L Moore Relation to Deceased: sister in Christ Thank you Sandy & family for your sacrifice of husband & father to the church body. My prayer is that all would be strenthened by God’s grace. Pastor Bob started my spiritual journey walking with the Lord and I will forever be grateful.

  8. Debbie Pietrzykowski Relation to Deceased: Friend Thank you Pastor Bob for your kindness, leadership and sense of humor. Thank you for tirelessly sharing your passion for Christ and encouraging us in our relationships with Him. I thank God He led us to CC Greece and to sit under your teaching. Now the rest of us will carry on and “run with patience the race that is set before us (Heb 12:1)”. Thank you for your part in equipping us for it.

  9. Dave Beck Words cannot properly express the feelings I have over the loss of my friend Bob Chappell, but I’ll try. He was, quite simply, the greatest man I’ve ever the privilege of knowing. He communicated God’s Word in ways that I easily understood, and had the ability to counsel me as he taught from the pulpit. He talked TO me, not AT me. I also appreciated his gentle ways of cultivating friendships among those who crossed his path. Bob often extended invitations to his home, and my wife and I did likewise. He had a fondness for music and often sang to us while strumming his six-string guitar in and away from his ministry. It was his love for the Lord that meant the most to him. Seldom have I encountered a man so dedicated. He is home now, and we are left to carry on without him. Personally I am comforted in knowing we will see each other some day in Glory. In the meantime, he will be missed by me, and by many others. I have never given much serious thought to how love feels towards another man, but the way I felt about Bob Chappell perhaps will be as close as I’ll ever come.

  10. Chuck Carr Bob has blessed our lives in so many ways, mostly by showing us how to walk in the spirit & to have a relationship with Jesus. The butterfly emerges from its silken shell- Reborn, it arises, no longer bound to earth. Free at last, the butterfly glides to heights unknown before. So do our loved ones find a beautiful release as, earthbound no more, they leave our sight and joyfully rise to a garden of matchless beauty, a place of light and peace. -Evelyn Phillips

  11. Alex Pietrzykowski Relation to Deceased: Acquaintance I didn’t know Bob that well. What I know of him was a regular guy who you could be real with and he’d be real with you. Pastor bob was one of the most genuine guys I’ve ever come to meet. What I liked about him most was his uncanny ability to sneak out of the service during closing worship just to be sure he was at the exit to shake hands and greet you as you left. He always had a broad smile no matter what he had going on. He was a true leader. A godly man that has impacted my life in small ways. I now regret not getting to know him more. I won’t ever forget him.
