  6. Neighborhood friends on Gilett Road, the pond, hockey nights, the fun. High School friends, soccer, girls, hijinks, reunions. Adoration for his daughters, friends, colleagues and his community. All in a good life lived by a real man with heart and generosity.

  7. I have fond memories of Mr. Diederich from Greece Ridge. He and my Dad (Pat Jermyn) were firefighters together. My Dad and I were in a car accident on Straub Rd in 1992. Mr. Diederich was the first responder I saw when I woke up after the crash. He was so kind, gentle and caring. I will always remember his compassion. Rest in peace, Mr. Diederich. Prayers to the family as you mourn the loss of a great man.

  8. I am so grateful to have known Bob. I’m the physical therapist that worked with him at home over the past several months. It was quickly apparent to me how special a should he was. We shared many great conversations throughout his sessions. He clearly loved his friends and family with his whole big heart. May he rest in peace-my sincere condolences to his daughters-he spoke proudly of you both.

  9. My thoughts and prayers go out to Kim and Kelly on the loss of their Dad. I have many fond memories of Bob and his days in the Greece Ridge Fire Department. His warm smile, infectious laugh and kind demeanor are traits of his I will always associate with Bob. He will be missed by many. RIP Bob!

  10. I will always remember the numerous times that we laughed together and shared an occasional beverage. You truly were a blast from my past and will be missed. Rest now for you are free from pain.

  11. I am saddened to hear of Bob’s passing. Bob was such a genuine and wonderful person. I have so many wonderful memories of our times together with Bob and our friends. I am so blessed to have had our reunion dinner together last year. Bobs smile and laughter and thoughtful nature will be sorely missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his daughters and family. ❤️🙏David French
