He could be sarcastic at times. He was an official/referee for baseball, basketball, football, lacrosse and soccer.

He enjoyed vintage auto`s, sweets, pies, collecting old films, Frank Sinatra, yachting and cartoons. He especially enjoyed cartoons with Sylvester and Tweety Bird.
