In 1960/61 Bob went on to attend RBI (Rochester Business Institute) earning a degree in Business and met Ginny. They became friends and stayed in touch even after Bob graduated and moved back home to Watkins Glen to take care of his ill mom. Bob and Ginny wrote letters to each other back and forth for over a year and then, in late summer 1962, Ginny went to visit Watkins Glen and their friendship quickly turned into their love story. Unpretentious good man who worked hard. He worked 2 jobs for 10 years to support his family. He enjoyed watching his kids, grandkids and great grandson play baseball, softball, volleyball, tennis and hockey. Loved Jesus and his Cursillo (kur-see-o) experience in 1972. He spent a lot of time gardening in the yard until his mobility was almost nil and chronic fatigue was dominate. He liked a meal out now and then. A good TV, chair, high ball or beer was a fine day, maybe a great steal! He loved to grill and made the best chicken legs, cornish game hens and roasts on the grill. Loved watching TV, movies, (especially goodfellas), weekly date night with his wife, Ginny, watching NCIS until the last few years. Loved cartoons such as road runner, Wily E Coyote was his favorite. Bob loved listening to rock roll, especially Rolling Stones, Eagles, Chicago, CCR and Lynyrd Skynyrd! He was a big fan of the Dodgers and Buffalo Bills, he literally cried when Scott Norwood's field goal attempt went wide right. He often helped around the house with kids' baths or dishes every night when family was young. He argued admirably and stood his ground with shall we say his larger mouth wife. He loved his wife young or old, fat or thin, his kids, grands and great grands. He loved his good friends, Charlie Fantuzzo, John Zagata, Dick Valone (deceased), Dave Ross, Jim Wegman (deceased), Art Piacelli (deceased), Chuck Fisher and many more. Loved his former in laws Tony, MaryAnn and Theresa, along with Greg Cleveland and David Nicholas. Loved all "our" cousins, aunts, uncles, niece nephews. Played softball with Kodak Elmgrove fellows #44. One of the Bob's favorite memories was when his Granddaughter, Jasmine on the couch 3 or 4 years old with her friend Brittney. Jasmine said "Britnney you're an a*#$*!". Her mother Theresa said, "Jasmine don't you say that bad word." Jasmine turned to Brittney and said, "Brittney you're an a**DAG. From that day forward that was Bob's swear word if somebody upset him and he would say "You're an a** dag. "I loved Bob with all my heart and soul. I told him many times in the past few years when he felt bad I had to care for him. I would say "It's my honor and privilege to care for you Bob". And it was! Written by Bob's loving wife, Ginny... "My parents as I liked to refer to them were one person. There is no one who could say a bad word about my Daddy". Written by daughter, Maribeth
