Rodney Donell Evers, 69, of Rochester New York, passed away in Los Angeles, California on November 29, 2019. He was born to Catherine McDonald and Elton Evers on April 9th 1950 in Waycross GA. He is predeceased by his mother, Catherine McDonald, wife, Gwen Evers, sister, Harriett Austin and niece, Erika Austin; all of whom he held dear to his heart. Rodney was employed by Eastman Kodak and Dick's Sporting Goods. From there he went into construction work until his failing health. He made sure that he gave all that he could to whatever he was doing; a quality that he took pride in. Rodney loved Jehovah God and people. With that said, he never met a stranger. His smile (loving and neighbourly) will always keep the heart warm and memories cherished. He is survived and lovingly missed by his brothers, Minister Devin (Susette) Vazquez, Stephen (Robertnett) Vallot and his twin sister, Rosalind (Otis) Allen. Along with a wonderfully treasured host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces , in-laws friends. His memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, January 8th from 5:00-7:00 PM at Bartolomeo Perotto Funeral Home, 1411 Vintage Lane, 14626 (Between Rt 390 Long Pond Rd)
